Allows growers to get an extra-early head start on zucchini season with a big flush of beautiful, shiny fruit while pollinators are absent. Strongly parthenocarpic, Maveric produces uniform, cylindrical fruit with very few culls. Compact, open plant with minimal spines makes for easy harvesting. Not recommended for field production, as growing outside may result in very small plants.
