Onza is strong from the start, with good germination and seedling vigor that leads to long, vigorous vines at maturity. A bit later to mature than Ocelot, but worth the wait. Its striking dark red flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet. Tiger-striped rind and globe-shaped, 3–5 lb. fruits. Avg. 1–2 fruits/plant.
