New! A hard yellow storage onion for the main season.
Very uniform in size with strong skins and long storage potential. Healthy, vigorous tops with good thrips tolerance. Compared to Patterson, Safrane is a few days later to mature, producing bulbs with greater size potential and similar storage capability. Bulbs are more of an elongated globe shape than Patterson’s, which tend to be flatter.
