Productive plants and strong, stiff stems.
Second-year flowering. Petite 1/2" pearl-gray blooms with brown and gold details. The colors blend together to create an overall mocha/cream palette, giving this beauty its delicious name. Hoodlike flowers form around the stiff, strong stems. In our trials, these plants are very productive, yielding 10-15 stems per plant. Can be fall or spring planted. NOTE: Flowering occurs in late spring in the second season of growth. Ht. 24-34". Avg. 70,900 seeds/oz. Packet: 50 seeds.
DAYS TO GERMINATION: 14-21 days at 65-70°F (18-21°C).

Transplant into cell packs or larger containers after the first true leaves appear, 15-20 days after sowing. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost. Direct seed: Sow as soon as soil can be worked, only in areas with long growing seasons. Do not cover seed as light is required for germination. Keep soil moist.
