Excellent dark green and maroon leaves.
Leaves are finely serrated at baby size and mizuna-shaped at full size. The color ranges from dark green with red veins to dark maroon at either size, with the maroon color being darker in cooler weather. The flavor is sweet and slightly pungent. Organically grown. Avg. 225,000 seeds/lb. Packet: 250 seeds.

CULTURE: Sow from early spring to late summer. For bunching, sow 1/4- 1/2" deep in a 2" wide band with 15 seeds/ft., rows 18-24" apart. Cut when greens reach full-size (12-18"). For baby leaf, sow 60 seeds/ft 1/4- 1/2" deep in a 2-4" wide band. Cut entire plants at 3-6".
