3" bulbs with uniform, deep purple skin and nearly fiberless, crisp white flesh. Organically grown. Avg. 117,600 seeds/lb. Packet: 100 seeds.
SCIENTIFIC NAME:Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes
CULTURE: Kohlrabi prefers mild or cool weather. It is grown throughout the season in the North, and during fall and winter in the South. Sow 15 seeds/ft., 1/4- 1/2" deep, in rows 12-18" apart. Thin fresh market varieties to 4" between plants. Thin storage varieties to 10" between plants. For earliest crops start in flats or plug trays and transplant. Fertile, well-irrigated soil promotes rapid growth which makes for a sweeter flavored crop. Harvest when roots are about 2-3" diameter; 8" diameter for storage varieties.
DAYS TO MATURITY: From direct seeding; for days to maturity from transplanting, subtract about 14 days.
AVG. DIRECT SEEDING RATE: 250 seeds/16′, 1,000 seeds/66′, 436M/acre at 15 seeds/ft with rows 18" apart.

If seeds fail to leave China, we will refund your payment 100%. But if seeds fail to reach you due to customs problem on your side which we were not informed in advance, we will not be able to bear any loss, and no refund will be made.
We sell only viable plants seeds online, and test germination of our seeds from time to time. So we will not be able to refund for seeds that clients fail to germinate, unless we are convinced that it's truly problem of our seeds.
