SCIENTIFIC NAME: Brassica juncea
CULTURE: Sow from early spring to late summer. For bunching, sow 1/4- 1/2" deep in a 2" wide band with 15 seeds/ft., rows 18-24" apart. Cut when greens reach full-size (12-18"). For baby leaf, sow 60 seeds/ft 1/4- 1/2" deep in a 2-4" wide band. Cut entire plants at 3-6".
INSECTS: Control flea beetles and other pests with floating row covers applied at time of sowing.
