Easy-to-grow plants for casual cut flowers, pollinator plantings, and displays of color in the garden. Productive, densely branched plants produce abundant stems and multiple cuts of this versatile crop. Suitable for fresh or dried flowers. Colored bracts of vibrant rose-pink decorate the tops of 30–40″ branches. Tolerant of frost. Also commonly known as annual clary sage.

DAYS TO GERMINATION: 5–12 days at 75–78°F (24–26°C).
SOWING: Transplant (recommended): Sow into 72-cell flats, 5-7 weeks before planting out. Gently press seed into soil, covering only enough to hold seeds in place as light is required for germination. Bottom water or mist lightly to avoid covering seed with displaced soil. Transplant into cell packs or larger containers. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost. Direct seed: Sow 2-4 seeds every 12-18″. Thin seedlings to 12-18″ apart.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun. Tolerates part shade.

PLANT SPACING: 12-18″.
HARDINESS ZONES: Annual.
HARVEST: Fresh: Harvest when bracts are fully colored. Dried: Harvest when colored bracts have stiffened a little. Hang to dry.

If seeds fail to leave China, we will refund your payment 100%. But if seeds fail to reach you due to customs problem on your side which we were not informed in advance, we will not be able to bear any loss, and no refund will be made.
